Customer Referrals

The Building Engines Referral Program (the "Program") makes it easy for you to share your knowledge about Building Engines with your friends and colleagues and get rewarded at the same time!  If the company referred to Building Engines has no existing relationship with Building Engines and becomes a new customer within 90 days, you’ll receive your choice of the following free gifts:


  1. A $400 Amazon gift card, or
  2. A donation of the equivalent amount to a charity of your choice, or
  3. A payment of the equivalent amount toward attending a tradeshow/industry conference of your choice, or
  4. A Building Engines license credit of equal value.



The following terms and conditions apply to the Program:

  1. You and your referees must each have an existing paying subscription to Building Engines to receive the free gift.  Hence, you will not receive a free gift for referring your own organization.
  2. To be eligible to receive the reward, the referral must be submitted on this form or via the following email address: [email protected]. This is how we track the referral.
  3. You acknowledge and agree that we may disclose your name and your organization’s name to your referees as the referrer.
  4. As the referrer, you will receive your choice of the above listed free gifts for each new customer you have referred that has contracted with Building Engines for licensed access to its software and services.
  5. Referral program credits do not apply for any accounts that you may have referred prior to the launch of the program.
  6. Only one referrer credit will be granted per each new referral account. If multiple referrers claim the same referral, Building Engines will have sole discretion to identify the referrer for such referral.
  7. Referral accounts that are cancelled by Building Engines for any reason (e.g. non-compliance with Building Engines' usage policies) will not be included in the Program.
  8. Building Engines credits are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
  9. Building Engines reserves the right to terminate the account(s) of any referred customer.
  10. Building Engines, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to disallow referrals that are duplicative, or are existing customers of Building Engines. As long as the contact or company is not currently being prospected, he/she is eligible to be submitted.
  11. We will not store your referees' names in any marketing database and will not contact your referees (other than to send a one-time email) unless your referees sign up for any of Building Engines' content programs, software or services.  Any other data collected for the purposes of this Program will be processed in accordance with the provisions of Building Engines' Privacy Policy. 
  12. Building Engines may amend these terms and conditions from time to time and the revised terms and conditions shall become effective immediately upon posting. Building Engines reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or cancel the Program at any time.
  13. You agree to comply with any applicable federal, state and local laws and the Building Engines Web Site and Product Terms and Conditions of Use and any other terms, conditions or policies published on the Building Engines website. This Program is void where prohibited by law. You acknowledge and agree that, for the avoidance of doubt, Section 8.0 (Limitation of Liability) and Section 10.0 (Miscellaneous) of the Terms of Use apply to this Program.
