David co-founded Lorax Partnerships in 2003 and is the leading LEED consulting firm in the mid-Atlantic region with over 150 projects to their credit. He is a founding director and past chair for the USGBC Maryland chapter where his advocacy work led to the creation of landmark green building legislation across the state. He was appointed by the Governor and has served on the Maryland Green Building Council since its inception. He is frequently asked to speak on green building/technology topics at conferences across the country. Before forming Lorax, David served as VP of eCommerce for Allfirst Bank and held technology leadership positions for Coca-Cola, Johns Hopkins University and Macro International.
LoraxPro was the catalyst in initiating LEED Automation with the USGBC’s technology team; the company co-developed the XML data protocol that facilitates data exchange between LEED Online and 3rd party software tools (such as LoraxPro). LoraxPro is a web-based collaboration and project management tool developed by experienced LEED consultants, designed specifically for LEED project teams.
